Attendance

Working Together to Support Excellent Attendance

At Barham Church of England Primary School, we want every child to attend regularly so that they can flourish academically, socially and emotionally. We know that attendance difficulties can occur for a variety of reasons and our approach is always to work in partnership with families, identifying and removing barriers wherever possible. Attendance concerns are managed through a graduated and supportive approach.

Even small reductions in attendance can quickly add up. A child with 90% attendance misses the equivalent of almost four weeks of learning across a school year.
